Turning Ideas into Real-World Creations
Turning Ideas into Real-World Creations
During this Spring Break, we invited a small group of kindergarten students to experience a different kind of learning—one that goes beyond traditional instruction and into creation, thinking, and real-world application.
Young children are never short of ideas. What they often need is the guidance, structure, and support to bring those ideas to life.
Over two weeks, four students worked in small teams to develop their own projects, resulting in two unique prototypes:

At YSIS, we believe young learners are not limited by what they know—but empowered by what they are supported to create.
During our Spring Break Camp, kindergarten students worked in small teams to design and build their own functional prototypes—from a math-supporting robot to a drawing companion.
Through guided mentorship, students learned:
But most importantly, they developed the confidence to say:
“I don’t know yet—but I can learn.”
This is not just a camp.
It is the beginning of a different way of learning.

The most valuable outcome of this camp was not what students built—
