ABOUT
Mission
We empower young students to design and launch real-world solutions through mentor-guided, project-based STEM—fostering creativity, resilience, and empathy while driving measurable community impact.

Vision
A world where school and community are bridged—empowering every student to design, build, and scale measurable solutions that benefit people and planet.
Our Story
Why We Started YSIS
We started Youth STEM Impact Society after seeing how often young students are confined to single-subject, lecture-based learning—when they’re fully capable of learning more through interactive, real-world work. Their curiosity and empathy are sparked by challenges they experience or witness in our imperfect world.
We believed that if teens had a place to scope real problems, work with community mentors, and build prototypes, they could create solutions that matter today—powered by fresh perspectives and outside-the-box thinking.
At YSIS, high-school students move through a simple model:
discover a need with a community partner → research and prototype → pilot and measure → share and iterate.
It’s STEM as a practice, not a worksheet—supported by mentors and professionals across industries, and by their peers.
Since 2023, students have led multiple projects with mentors across partner organizations. We’re guided by inclusion, evidence, and impact you can see. And we’re building toward a world where school and community are bridged—empowering every student to design, build, and scale measurable solutions that benefit people and planet.
