In this hour-long virtual conversation, Christian Kapsales walks through his path from studying CS at the University of Waterloo, to working in AI research, to founding his own company in AI communications — and what he’d tell his younger self at each turn.

Christian’s interest in AI research grew into something more practical: building products that take the tedium out of real work. That shift, from researching a field to shipping in it, is the heart of the talk. Students will hear what a CS degree prepares you for, what it doesn’t, and how the choices made early on shape where you land.
